I guess the best way to answer that question is for us to first explore the meaning of inspire and where inspiration was derived from. It was derived from the Latin word inspirare, meaning to breath life into another. It is also described as to affect, guide and arouse by divine influence. This ties in beautifully with the verse found in Jeremiah 33:3. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” And that’s exactly what happened to me as I was vacationing with my beautiful wife Patti, in Banff, Canada one early morning. I had been calling out to God in prayer several months before, in search of my purpose in life. And then one unforgettable morning at 2:30 a.m. my Inner Voice stirred within me and answered my call to purpose. Shortly after this experience the idea of Purpose Pie presented itself and an acronym was created for PIE. The PIE is the sweet spot of purpose, where one co-creates with the Creator in creating their best life! A life that is filled with sweet Passion-Inspiration-Enthusiasm like no other. From here the Purpose Pie vision continued to evolve and develop and wouldn’t go away. And no matter how busy or hurried my life became, it just kept tugging at my heart. Through the continued unexpected feelings I finally realized that these were my spiritual marching orders. Purpose Pie was no longer an option. It just had to come out of me and boy, am I glad it did! For in this process I discovered that God can and will overcome our doubts and trepidation in manifesting our best self. He truly makes our impossible possible. Purpose Pie was the “more” that I had been searching for. And it was God’s way of working through me in order to share with others that we really do have a choice. A choice to not just live, but to “really” live in the sweet spot of purpose, in creating a glorious life.
